Having successfully managed and owned businesses for over 20 years, Director Mike Luck has also spent 30 years as a Club
racer, his true passion. Not only has he designed and built
clubmans sports cars, he is also a Championship Winner in his
own right and one of the team’s most enthusiastic drivers.CHRIS SCHIRLE
Chief Engineer
Chris started as a driver in the 60’s and went on to work for
Ralph Broad at Broadspeed who built some of the most
successful production saloon racecars. During the 70’s he
gained experience as race engineer with Indy Car and NASCAR
in the states and Formula 1 across Europe. The 1980’s saw him
working nearer to home at TVR where he was head of the
competition department and instrumental in creating of the highly
successful 420 SEAC. During the 90’s Chris was part of a
business that concentrated on preparing and running numerous
classic cars for FiA competition, many of which are still racing
successfully today.His expertise encompasses:
• Building reliable small & big block, push rod V8 racing engines
• Understanding & effecting good suspension geometry and dynamics
• Intimate knowledge of all European circuits
• Vast experience and contacts with USA based manufactures
• of competition parts
LES WEAVER
Engineer
An accomplished club rally driver with over 30 years experience, Les ran his own business preparing modern rally cars for
competition across Europe but has also spent time restoring
classic rally cars. Les has excellent skills in all aspects of racecar preparation coupled with an eye for detail and presentation.
NICK MIDDLETON
Apprentice Engineer
Racing is in Nick’s blood as he comes from a very successful
family of race engineers for speed hill climbing and sprinting
events. Nick is learning all areas of race car preparation from Chris
and Les as well as being professionally trained in fabrication &
welding. ROB FODEN
Engineer
Rob has many years experience of rally car preparation, working
for several of the leading works teams on location.
Good all round fabrication skills together with recent experience
